the lonely atsara

The atsara serves as the side dish of almost all Filipino foods. From grilled porks & seafoods to lechon to breakfast meals like tocino & tapa. Everytime we order food in a Filipino restaurant, there will ALWAYS be atsara on the side.

...too bad I don't eat atsara. Can we not think of another side dish for my fave Filipino dishes? I just feel bad wasting a tasteful looking (side) dish.
