Top things myNatnat say or do before she turns 2:
1) orders mom and dad to kiss each other goodnight
2) kisses mom and/ or dad if she wants something (both forbidden and allowed )
3) says "Good", "nice" and "wow" to a pretty face or a colorful cupcake or after she (almost) finishes her milk
4) says "Thank you" spontaneously
5) says "sorry" and gives a kiss simultaneously when you give her a disappointed face and after she throws a tantrum
6) says "Please, milk." even when asleep
7) says "ssshhh" softly to a crying baby
8) hands out and shares her toy to babies (she likes)
9) calls out "Papa, eat." when she sees me setting the table.
10) says "pootpoot" when she wets or soils her nappy
11) says "bye bye" to things and places when she's done using
12) "fights back" and/ or says "stop!" when daddy is teasing her
13) wiggles her butt (and entire body) when she hears the song Gimme, gimme or any upbeat tune
14) closes her eyes or look away when she sees something scary like lizard on the wall.
15) Does a running commentary or at least identify objects she sees on tv or her book without even asking her
16) kisses mama's aweee or asks mama to kiss her aweee
17) mumbles (or maybe she's cursing) when she's having a hard time doing number 2 (poop)
18) tries to tell stories during dinner time with her unintelligible words and animated sound effects and gestures
29) narrates how the animal made poopoo when she hears the word "cow" (the cow making-poop-incident happened weeks before and she still has hang over it. She will never look at cow the same way again. Lol)
20) acts like a kitten (lie her head on your body and move it very gently) when asked to make "lambing"
21) says a resounding YESSSHH when asked if she loves Papa and Mama
22) Makes the sign of the cross in this order: right hand on forehead, right hand on tummy, right hand on left shoulder, left hand on right shoulder, hands together, "memen"
I didn't intend to just jot down the positive ones. It just happened that she is this nice most of the time. I'm proud that I/ we seem to have taught Natnat well through our words and actions. I hope she doesn't get any of our bad habits and vices. Thank you Lord for the wonderful blessing called Natnat. Thank you for guiding us raise her well.
Happy 22months Sweetheart. Mommy and daddy loves you.
