I was so excited to start my Natnat with solid food. I bought her a plastic bowl back when she was around 5 months old. I thought, I would just get her eating utensils for her to play with before we actually start eating solid food. It was a pink bowl with a built in juicer/squeezer and strainer. It was pretty cheap and really looks like only a toy. I think a food processor or blender would be more efficient in making baby food. But I didn't realize that it will actually help me prepare food for my little one. I guess I'm clueless on making food for tiny mouths.
It's really very useful. I mash fruits and (precooked) veggies using the strainer. I squeeze lemons and oranges for baby's (and adult's) consumption. I can make my baby's food without the hassle of cleaning too many parts. I don't need electricity. And I can bring and use it anywhere.
* Feeding infants after they turn 6months old is recommended to prevent some allergies to develop.

This little pink bowl is now my toy. It's really a great find.
